Interior Design Internship (Unpaid remote)
The Keyconcept Interior design intern will work closely with managers through remote video conferencing, telephone conferences, text, and working within the Keyconcept shared folders google and other design software.
Through remote person monitoring, Keyconcept Interior design student interns will have the chance to be mentored and receive hands-on experience. Keyconcept is a small firm that can provide intimate hands-on-experience for Interior design student interns with practical experience focused on:

Interior/exterior design for 80% commercial/residential;
-
Gather/collect design requirements and create designs for new constructions, redevelopment, alterations, or repairs;
-
Assist in determining how space will be used and how people will move through space;
-
Sketching preliminary design plans, including electrical and partition layouts; specifying materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures;

Staging at project sites;
-
Placing orders for materials and overseeing the installation of the design elements;
-
Alterations and redevelopments; high-level drawing/renderings skills to interior/exterior designs for buildings that are functional, safe, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing;

Modify and update designs based on review comments from

architectural designers work on multiple projects at a time while keeping to tight schedules, so good time management is important
We are certain the Keyconcept student internship program provides the hands-on experience, mentoring, and team-building skills that will enhance emerging students with their future careers. We provide evaluations for each student during and after completing the Keyconcept student internship program. Also, after evaluating the student interns’ performance, Keyconcept may offer a commission on a company project and/or employment on a company project.
Responsibilities

Requirements
-
Proven working experience in decorating interior and/or interior architecture spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning, and new constructions)
-
Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture, and all installations.

Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, or other design programs
-
Excellent portfolio of previous works
-
Creative talent, imagination, and eye for design
-
Communication and presentation skills
-
Project management skills
-
At least two years of coursework and/or student internship experience.
