Graphic Design Internship (Unpaid, remote)

Keyconcept has opened its professional Graphic Design program to inspire interns/entrepreneurs (providing waivers from Keyconcept Charities) to experience hands-on training while working closely with industry professionals. The key to opening career possibilities is unlocking the doors to one's endless potential. At Keyconcept, our team provides the right platforms for emerging talent to discover their entrepreneurial spirit, and we nurture them toward successful outcomes. The Keyconcept internship program will increase emerging talents' competitiveness in today's global job market, gain valuable hands-on experience, one-on-one mentoring, gain cross-cultural experience working in a diverse environment, and strong team-building skills working together in project pods.

The graphic design student intern will work closely with the Keyconcept manager through remote video conferencing, telephone conferences, text, and working within the Keyconcept shared folders Google and other design software.

Through remote monitoring, Keyconcept graphic design interns will have the chance to be mentored and receive hands-on experience. Keyconcept is a small firm that can provide intimate hands-on experience for graphic design student interns with practical experience focused on: Learning and assisting in preparing work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.

• Learn and assist in planning brand/concept by studying information and materials.

• Learn and assist in conceptual design: identity & branding, logo design, and website design

• Learn and assist in Illustrating concepts by designing a rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic ideas.

• Learn and assist in obtaining approval of the concept by submitting a rough layout for approval.

• Learn and assist in preparing the final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.

• Increase technical skills with the latest creative design software.

• Learn and assist social media management with content creation, content audit, graphic design ads, social media advertisement, market research, & marketing strategy

• ​Learn and develop their technical skills/knowledge.

• Work remotely with intern teams by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Assist during client meetings and present designs prepared for client projects.    

Graphic Designer Student Intern Skills and Qualifications:

Graphic Design Skills, Layout Skills, Creative Services, Customer Focus, Creativity, Flexibility, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Desktop Publishing Tools, Acute Vision, Handles Rejection

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom), and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel)​
